A person receiving foreign contribution in a quarter of the financial year shall place details of foreign contribution received on its official website or on website specified by the Central Government within 15 days following the last day of the quarter in which it has been received clearly indicating the details of donor, amount received and date of receipt.
All participating MFIs duly registered with the registry can access data of their own, as well as they can search for a particular beneficiary at the national level.
Before releasing a loan to a new beneficiary, the MFI can search for the credit track and precedence of the beneficiary. Using the ration card number or voter’s id number, a beneficiary can be traced if there is an outstanding anywhere within the participating MFIs. Likewise, the name of the beneficiary along with father’s name or spouse name can be searched to know resembling transactions within the portfolio of all participating MFIs. Participating MFIs will be not allowed to access general information related to other MFIs.
